Totality from ancient Thebes
The sweepstakes winner will travel to Luxor, Egypt — ancient Thebes — to witness roughly six and a half minutes of totality, among the longest anywhere on Earth for the next 87 years. The 10-day trip also covers Cairo's pyramids and museums, Luxor's temples, and a multi-night Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, with stops at Edfu, Kom Ombo, Philae, and Abu Simbel along the way. Astronomer guides, an Egyptologist, pre-eclipse lectures, and an eclipse photography workshop round out the experience, all based from 4/5-star hotels and a dedicated cruise ship.
